NCVT ITI Admission 2025 Process – Step by Step

If you want to take Admission in NCVT ITI 2025, then follow the easy steps given below:

  • Go to your state’s ITI website (e.g., ncvtmis.gov.in, skillindiadigital.gov.in, or state-specific portals like scvtup.in).
  • Create an account using your name, email, phone number, and category (SC/ST/OBC/General).
  • Fill the Application Form by providing personal details and selecting trades (Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic etc).
  • Submit documents like marksheets, ID proof, category certificate (if applicable), domicile certificate, and passport-size photos on the portal.
  • Now, pay the Application Fee online via net banking, UPI, or card, but the Fees may change by state (e.g., ₹100-500).

Eligibility Criteria for ITI Admission 2025.

Merit List, Counseling & Seat Allotment

  • Merit List:- is prepared based on marks in Class 8th, 10th, or 12th ( according to State/trade). The student who has the most marks, his name come higher in the list merit list.
  • Counseling Process:
    • You have to log in to the official state portal and select College and Trade.
    • Once you submit, your choices will be locked for seat allotment.

Seat Allotment Round 1:

  • You get a seat based on your marks, category, and choices. And then you will receive allotment letter online.
  • Seat Confirmation (Freeze Option): After Round 1 allotment, you have two options:
    • Confirm the seat and freeze it. After that, you download the allotment letter and move allotted ITI college and verify the documents.
    • If you are not satisfied with the allotted seat, or you are confident of getting a better college or trade in the next round, then you can select the option of “Upgradation”.
  • Physical Verification: Submit documents at the allotted ITI college
