The Jharkhand DET (Directorate of Employment and Training) released the Jharkhand ITI Admission form on 7 May 2025 and the official notification for Admission 2025-26-27 for all Jharkhand ITI students. 1. Go to your official Jharkhand ITI Admission portal, JCECEB.
2. After that, you have to create an account on the official portal by using your name, email, and phone number. 
3. Now, fill out the admission Form with your educational and personal details, also select the ITI trade that you want to select.
4. Upload the important documents such as mark sheets, ID proof, domicile certificate, and passport-size photos on the portal.
5. Now, submit the form and pay the Application Fee online via net banking, UPI, or card.
6. You have completed the admission process. Take a printout admission form for future use.

If you want to take admission in NCVT Jharkhand ITI Colleges, then it is necessary to follow the eligibility criteria, which are given below. These rules are decided by the DGT (Directorate General of Training):

• The candidate (student) must be an Indian citizen.
• Age Limit: Your age must be at least 14 years old on 1st July 2025 and a maximum age limit of 40 years.
• Educational Qualification:
  • For most trades: 10th pass.
  • For a few short-term trades: 8th pass
    
• Domicile: You must be a resident of Jharkhand state.
  
• Additional Requirements: Some trades may require specific subject knowledge (like Science/Maths).

Merit List Process

The Department of Labour, Employment, Training & Skill Development will prepare two separate merit lists to take admission in ITI Jharkhand colleges. This list will provide JCECEB based on the educational qualification.

 1. Class 8th Level Merit List:

For those trades for which the minimum qualification is only to pass the 8th, the merit list will be prepared based on marks received in class 8.

 If two or more candidates have the same marks in class 8th, then the one who is older in age will be given more priority in the merit list.

Example: Ravi and Aman both have 85% marks in 8th grade, but Ravi’s date of birth is 2008 and Aman’s is 2009 – so Ravi will get a higher rank.

2. Class 10th Level Merit List – 10th based merit list

For those trades for which a 10th pass is necessary, the merit list will be based on the marks obtained in class 10.

If two or more students have equal marks in class 10th, then their merit rank will also be decided based on age, meaning the candidate who is older in age will get more preference.

Counseling Process:

1. Log in to the official state administration on the official website of JCECEB using your registration ID.
2. Choose your desired College and Trade.
3. Once you submit, your preference will be locked for seat allotment.
4. Confirm your seat with final admission.
