NCVT ITI Trainee Verification 2024 Last Date: Official Notice Out

If you were admitted to NCVT ITI in 2024 and your NCVT ITI Trainee Verification has not been completed yet, then this is very important news for you. The last chance for trainee verification from DGT and NCVT is until 16 June 2025, so that they can complete their verification.

Without ITI trainee Verification, your PRN Number will not be generated, and you will not be allowed to appear in the ITI exam. Therefore, students who have not yet completed their verification should complete their trainee verification by visiting the SIDH portal before 16 June 2025. In this blog, I will provide the complete step-by-step process for trainee verification.

Step 1: First of all, open the SIDH official portal, https://dgt.skillindiadigital.gov.in/, on your mobile or laptop.

Step 2: You will see the option of Candidate Login or Trainee Login in the top menu bar. Click on it.

Step 3: After that, you need to log in by using your mobile number.

Step 4: Once you log in, your dashboard will appear, showing your ITI course details.

Step 5: In this dashboard, you have to click on the View Details button under the “Trainee Verification” section.

Step 6: As soon as you click on the View Details button below the “Trainee Verification” option, a new dashboard will open on your screen.

Step 7: Here you will see the details like your SRN number, your name, trade, etc. If all the details are correct, then click on the Verify button.

Step 8: Now, you can see three options for verification. You have to complete all these steps: 1st verify mobile number, 2nd Capture trainee photo, and 3rd KYC.

1- Mobile Number Verification: First, verify the mobile number by inputting the OTP received.

2-Capture Trainee Photo: Then, capture the student’s photo using a laptop or desktop webcam.

3-KYC (Know Your Customer): Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number, generate OTP, and submit it.

✅ After submitting the OTP, a message like “Trainee PRN has been successfully generated” will appear on your screen.

📄 Note: You will also need a PRN number to download your ITI Admit Card, Certificate, Marksheet, etc.

Trainee Verification ensures that the admission you have taken in the ITI is correctly recorded in the government records. Every ITI student must complete this verification.

✅ 1. To get the PRN number

Your Permanent Registration Number (PRN) is your official identification number inside ITI, and it is not generated without Trainee Verification.

The NCVT system generates a PRN only when all three steps of the verification process are completed:

• ITI uploads trainee details to the NCVT MIS portal
• Student (you) verifies your information via self-verification
• The Directorate approves your trainee data.

After verification is complete, you can also check the ITI Result 2025.

✅ 2. To appear in the ITI Exam

If verification is not done, you will not be allowed to appear in the final ITI exam.

✅ 3. For the NCVT certificate

If Trainee Verification is not completed, you will not receive a certificate, which is very important in further studies or jobs.

✅ 4. For a government or private job

Companies and government departments check your PRN and certificate at the time of your job. If there is no verification, they will not consider your ITI recognized.

✅ 5. For Apprenticeship and further training

Verification is also necessary for doing an Apprenticeship or any other course now or in the future.
