How to Apply for Maharashtra ITI Admission 2025
Candidates who want to take admission in Maharashtra ITI colleges and also want to understand the admission process in a simple way. Below, I’m going to share a few important steps:
- Visit this website, admission.dvet.gov.in, and click on New Registration.

- Fill out the New Candidate application form by providing your personal, academic, mobile, email, and password.
- And then, fill the application form with personal, academic, and category details.

- After that, upload important documents: photo, signature, mark sheets, etc.
- Pay the application fee online (Rs. 100–300, depending on the category) using various payment methods.
- Last step, print your provisional form and save credentials for future login.
Note: Password length must be 8 to 15 characters with at least 1 capital letter, 1 number, and 1 special character (e.g., Password@123).

Eligibility Criteria

Maharashtra ITI Merit List & Counselling Process 2025
Merit list: The Maharashtra ITI merit list will be announced by the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (DVET) on 30 June 2025. Through the merit list, we will be able to know which students will get admission in ITI institutes. Candidates have to visit the DVET official website to check their names on the list.
The merit list will be prepared based on your academic marks – i.e., 10th or 12th class results. Students who have scored high marks in their academic exams will get a higher rank in the merit list. In short, the higher rank means that they also have a higher chance of getting a seat in the first counseling.

Counselling: The Directorate of Vocational Education & Training (DVET) will conduct the counselling process of the Maharashtra ITI (Industrial Training Institute). The counselling procedure will be conducted in multiple rounds.

- Then, select your preferred trades.
- After that, you’ll have to lock your preferred trade and pay the choice filing fee.
- The authority will declare the allotment result based on your merit and preference.
- If you get allotted, then you’ll be able to download the allotment letter and report to the allotted college for further document verification.
- Last step, after doing all the previous steps, now you’ll be able to pay the admission fees, that’s it.
